Video Production

I graduated from Damelin College with a Diploma in Film and Video Production and was awarded the for top advance film student.

Some of my freelance work includes projects for Q magazine’s radio station, Q Radio. Q hosted a monthly concert at Concrete in London or Manchester, where the Q presenter interviewed the headlining artist before the show.

I also did regular camera work for a video production company called Handel Productions based in Manchester. They produce corporate, training, educational and dance videos.

At the moment I create short videos and slideshows for the LCS Group, primarily for events & company presentations. I've included some of my videos below.

The Collector

I produced, directed and edited this advert for a College project. It is directed to the RSPCA in South Africa. As an animal lover I wanted to create an uplifting video with a positive feel on this subject, as opposed to focusing on the abandonment and sad circumstances of the animals. In this way people will feel good about the video and more inspired to help.

Hungry Africa

This was the very first video that I created as a College project. I produced, directed and edited this advert to stress the poverty in Africa that many people ignore. This video reveals the sad truth that still exists in many countries.

Pro Golf Balls

This one minute video was a College exercise. Each student needed to produce, direct and edit a one minute piece of uninterrupted video. Two random classmates were the crew members. Everyone was given one hour to complete a video from scratch, down to the editing, all the way to the finished product on DVD. This task was a lot of fun, but it also helped us deal with low-budget projects and time constraints.
